A strong start to the year for me. I'm on track to reach my goal of 50 books this year, and I read my one book in French for this month. In January I managed to read lots of different genres. I also had a real variety of ratings, everything from 1 star to 5 stars.
I had a great month for shopping as well - one trip to Waterstones with my husband and my mum, where I picked up Yellowface by R. F. Kuang, The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver and Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop by Hwang Boreum.
Then a trip to Cambridge with my bestie, where I got Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden in an Oxfam bookshop, and Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa. from Heffers, which was like being in a dream and I cannot wait to get back there!
I also started using Libby where you can borrow e-books from your local library. I've used this to get the last social media apps off my phone and make the swap to reading e-books instead. So now I'm reading two books at once; one physical book and one e-book.
